@Brenda Meehan Aha! Figured it out. That first post was me learning the ropes of skool. I should have posted the video card instead of embedding the actual video in the post. For this post, I just used the video card I made for yt. If you go to the 2 min Guitar Lesson classroom, it’ll be there. Also, you don’t have to do them sequentially just to get to this one which happens to be the last posted. Let me know how it works for you. Enjoy!

Just added my ‘2 min Guitar Lesson’ series to a classroom. Have a look, learn a song, suggest the next one. Cheers! (BTW shouldn’t it be klassroom, if we’re keeping the theme going?)

Gardening
Augh! Rainy days and Mondays and the week between Christmas and New Year’s always get mee-ee down! But it’s mostly boredom because students are out and traveling. Still, I’ve have some time to put a classroom together, so that helps. Some time to play through different things helps too, especially if they got put to the back burner. Dug up any old tunes in your garden today?

Today is my first day at skool.
Hey everybody! It’s my first day so I’ll be on my best behavior so as to not get fired. But in the spirit of fitting in, I’ll ask questions relevant to my beat. What is your favorite pet (read:guitar)? What is a song you hope to play someday? Since it’s the first day of Chanukah, here’s a quick lesson on Adam Sandler’s Chanukah ‘anthem’.

Ah yes, seen many of those come through the door. Good reliable instrument. If you have an open mic coming up within the next few days, then Chanukah Song is a great choice. Basic open chords: A, E & D, grab the lyrics to any one of the 4 versions, and you’ll have the crowd singing the chorus right along with you.
