How Does the A3 Fit into the Project Plan?
We use the A3 as part of our project documentation process, and I’m curious about how it aligns with or fits into the formal Project Plan from a PMP perspective. Could you share your thoughts on where the A3 might be integrated within the Project Plan framework? Is it best viewed as part of the project charter, scope statement, or another component?

I’d say Project Charter and then, an as-updated version in Monitoring & Controlling. It might even be a helpful doc to send/link to in your stakeholder communication, if its updated frequently.
What do YOU want to know about the world of PM?!
If you could ask me anything, what topics would you want me to cover? I make a lot of videos on YouTube and other platforms, what do you want to see next? If I like your idea, you might see a video made on your topic! Keep an eye on my YouTube for new videos: https://www.youtube.com/@AndrewRamdayal/featured

@Manikanta Rama Krishna Gowtham Vempati Schedule your test! I was kicking the exam down the road until I finally just got sick of studying and scheduled it. I didn't think I was ever going to be ready and didn't even feel ready the day I took it...and had no idea how I did after I finished! Ended up passing 3AT. Take as many mock exams as you can and drill the mindset the most. Find Andrew's '200 Ultra Hard PMP Questions" on YouTube and see how you do. I got a low 80%.

@Debra Bartlett same. I have my exam prep book on my desk and, when I have downtime, I open it up to different sections to keep that knowledge somewhat fresh. Admittedly, Its not as satisfying as scrolling Instagram howling husky videos on instagram, but its way better for me!

Please, as @Jeremy dePrisco mentioned, provide some specifics on what you need help with. The application seems intimidating, especially documenting your project experience part.
Before and After PMP Certification
For those of you who have passed the PMP exam, how has it changed your career? Did your salary go up? Were you promoted? Did you land the job you wanted?

No. Been out of work since Jan 1 and even with 15yr of Operations in the software/SaaS industry I still haven't landed a job with my PMP. Getting my ACP in a couple weeks, because I'm 70% there after getting the PMP so, we'll see if that helps a little. Now, having said that - I do think it will leapfrog me over other applicants without it. And, most importantly - I don't regret getting it, at all.
Experience
Hi I am project coordinator for the legal field. I only have some PM experience and in Jan 2026, God willing, I will make 3 years, what if i dont have 36months of exp, will 2 years be suffice or should i apply for the application when I make 3 years?

ANYTHING that you can apply the PMP processes to can be used in your application. Painting your house. Moving from one home to another. Party planning. For real - anything! The only caveat is - make sure you have someone that can verify the project if you happen to get randomly audited.
