Knowing what you want
Had a good inaugural 2024 check in yesterday with @Chris Palin! Key take away for me was the importance of clearly knowing what you want from your experience and letting that inform the interventions you implement. Is running a good or bad approach to cardio? Depends on what you want. Should you put more energy into training or diet? Depends on what you want. What you want to achieve is solely up to you. Once you've got that nailed, then we can help you find the best path for you to get there. So, what do YOU want?

Introduce yourself!
OK, let's take some action. Whether you're joining from the original cohort or joining for the first time, tell us who you are, where you are on your physique journey, and where you want to go! I'll start. I'm Tim. Amateur bodybuilder, tech enthusiast, founder, and through QORfit, male physique "guide" if you will. I've wanted an amazing physique for nearly my entire adult life. I started taking unfocused action toward that desire around 2005. I started taking meaningful action around 2015, and my passion for bodybuilding started around 2018. I just completed a photo shoot in December 2023 where I captured the best physique of my life at 44, but I know I can do better. I've just started a build phase where I'll be slowly increasing my weight to ~110-115kg, then cutting down to a stage-ready 101.3 by April or June 2024. Everybody's journey is different, and while QORfit isn't explicitly a "bodybuilding community", I had to learn how to get six pack before I got to where I am today. The base principles are the same. Looking forward to hearing from everyone else!

Getting Started with the QOR Experience Tracker
We leverage data in this program to make informed decisions about our training and nutrition in pursuit of our physique goals. The best tool I've used (so far) for this is a spreadsheet. That's all the QOR Experience Tracker is... This is a super quick guide to get you started with it. 1. If you don't have a Google account, you'll need one to proceed. Click here to create one. HINT: if you have an @gmail.com email address, you already have a Google account. 2. Click here to access the master version of the QOR Experience Tracker. It will open in a new window/tab. If see a "Sign in" button in the top right corner, use your Google account from above to log in. 3. Click on File → Make a copy. A dialogue will appear asking you to give the copy a name and location. Name it whatever you like and put it in whatever folder you like. Click "Make a copy". 4. A new window/tab will open with your very own copy of the tracker. This one is yours to keep/modify/use to your heart's content. Be sure to watch the videos on the INSTRUCTIONS tab to learn how to use the tracker. That's it! If you get stuck, ask questions here on this post or in the forums.
