Where are you doing the call?
Anyone else feeling sifted?
Hey guys, Here’s what I mean. The thing with Epstine caused me to look at how I was handing truth and personal accountability in my own life and with my family and friends. I wasn’t holding my mother responsible for her part and was allowing excuses about her hard childhood as a rational to continue unhealthy patterns and not being accountable - which was causing harmful patterns in the present. Second example - the 360,000 children that were “misplaced” at the border. I know my daughter has not separated 100% from family members who are abusing him. Not sexually and yes I called CPS. She moved out finally from them, but she is still going back and leaving him with them. As long as I am in relationship with her and NOT standing for the truth of what is best for him and for her, and just don’t say anything - because I have and know the truth about this situation- that is me being complicit and compromised. Which means she feels comfortable to keep taking him there and I’m not continuing to insist she keep him away from abusive people. I can’t force her - but I choose whether to “be understanding” of her hardship. Or I choose to stand in the truth and insist she does what is right. And if she hates me - then that’s the cost. But at least I’m not being complicit when I know there is abuse. We are responsible for the truth we know. Does this make sense to anyone? It feels like we’re being sifted personally through all the topics coming up in the news - where God is revealing truth. So we aren’t being hypocrites to what we are taking a stand against in the news. We also have to apply the truths we are seeing be exposed in our personal lives and families. Is this just me or other people also? I’ll just say, it is freeing - liberating! And also very painful and uncomfortable. Because things that have been certain ways for a long time are being called out and put in the light - and we are coming into the light with it. And having to changed based upon applying these truths. And as we get free, we also act differently because of the new truth. Anyhow, this is where it is all hitting home and hadn’t heard anyone mention this specifically, so wanted to just ask outright.
