Holding Orbit for Writers is on SPOTIFY!
A small shift happened this week. (The technology gremlins didn’t keep me from figuring out Spotify.) Whoohoo!! This season feels like planting—showing up, sorting, letting things take root. What season does your writing feel like right now? https://open.spotify.com/episode/2oIb0Gh2rSKgQJPXhcSSU6?si=UljBDADJRo6zCM3Ru7iAQQ&t=4

How is the Week Holding Your Writing?
Do you cozy up on weekends to get words down? Do you have a routine—or is it more fits and starts? I’m always so curious how other writers write. Here’s how my writing hums along the sidelines all the time. Ideas spark while I’m driving. Sentences assemble themselves while I’m sorting out tech, walking, or trying to fall asleep. The writing never really clocks out. This week, I wrote something that took more out of me than I expected. It landed right after we taped the podcast, and it slowed me down for a couple of days. The rest of the week has been full in good ways: a conversation with a fellow podcaster about the technical side of things, continuing education I need to finish, and family projects that are quietly joyful. So I do what I often do. I’m here for the wee hours. I write before anyone else is awake. How does the writing make its way into your days? Photo by Paico Oficial on Unsplash

Very similar, I might watching a programme or listening to a podcast and It will give me ideas I have a note pads all around the house, and on my phone. Whenever I have a thought or idea and write it down and go back to it later.

Brand new members : @Lisa Short an art teacher with her own Skool @Jezabelle Jackson my partner in crime for the Holding Orbit Podcast @Rose Colbourne who has her own Skool and mentioned writing as a hobby in the comments section of another Skool, and that started a whole side conversation @Slug J who was invited by Jezabelle - Welcome! @Tim Atyeo A Skool Star who has engagement down to a comfortable habit, and has a couple of Skools dealing with learning to read personalities. I think this is so important for people crafting storylines to understand human dynamics! I've been having fun all week - clicking on Profiles, seeing what people are into - what communities they are a part of. So many fun connections happen just in comments sections. Welcome - and please tell us what type of writing you do, or what type of reading you enjoy. Writers love readers and gentle audiences. Let's make it easy - Tell us: 1 - When you started writing 2 - What genre 3 - Are you seeking publication - or writing for pleasure? 4 - Are you published?

Thank for the lovely welcome I stared when I was about 12 or 13yrs old Genre~ it is people. I use to watch people form afar, and mimic what they were saying to each other and then I would go home and write the story. I would love to publication but more for pleasure No not published I love language in any form, I grew ups listening to Ronnie barker, Monty python, and my Dad in showed me a video of George Carlin- TIME, you can get on YouTube. how we play with language
