Background colour
Hi, Has anyone had an issue with prints coming on a white background even though their files have a different colour background? I placed an order, which I received yesterday and the background is white even though my artwork has a cream background. I have emailed support, not heard anything back yet, but wondered if anyone else has had the same issue?

@Eden Rae Hi Eden, yes I’ve seen this happen before. Sometimes the printer/profile can automatically knock very light cream or off-white backgrounds back to pure white, especially if the file is exported in RGB instead of CMYK or if the background colour is too close to white. It can also happen if transparency settings flatten incorrectly during upload. A few things worth checking:• Make sure the background layer is fully opaque (not transparent)• Export as a high-quality PNG/PDF with the background embedded• Check the colour values some very pale creams can print as white• If possible, request a proof print or ask support what print profile they use Definitely keep chasing support though, because if your uploaded artwork clearly shows a cream background, the print should match the file. Hopefully they can reprint it for you.

@Eden Rae Sounds like Canva may have exported your file in RGB instead of CMYK, or the cream background wasn’t flattened properly into the JPG. I’d recommend exporting your design as a high-quality PDF for print (CMYK if possible) instead of JPG, and make sure the cream background is part of the actual artwork layer not just the Canva workspace colour. Also double-check the background colour codes before exporting. Hopefully support can tell you their exact preferred settings too. Good thing you ordered a sample first!
Multibuy offers
Hello i have a new shop with about 50 images so far and will up load more to etsy this week. Just wondering if a multibuy offer can be added or is there a special button. Eg buy 2 save 10% . Is that something printshrimp offer or is it via etsy and set it up that way, thanks
