Hey family! I know this community is meant for us to grow in Christ but also grow in many other things. We have not been doing that as of recent but I am happy to know that we have built a space that we can be here for each other. I am grateful regardless of the outcome. I would like to ask for prayer for Jesse as he is currently experiencing the passing of a very close family member and prayer for Amani as she plans to rebuild in her life. Please pray for Jonathan as he has just graduated university and he moves into pastoral ministry. We are more than a community, we are a family and I encourage you all to keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Please don’t forget to take today to rest and reconnect with our Creator. Many of us think that resting will be detrimental to the grind. We often fall into hustle culture that promotes working until exhaustion. Let me tell you that is nothing but the devil’s work. Taking rest does not only give us energy but intentional time to do this will also reconnect us with our true design. Rest is a Godly trait. We can realign ourselves with the path and calling God has made us for to start our week being focused in purpose.
