Food Allergy Myths
What are some myths about food allergies? One is that Celiac and gluten allergies are the same; Celiac is an auto immune disease. The body's immune system attacks villi in the small intestine when gluten is introduced. A gluten allergy is the body reacting to a substance it doesn't quite know how to deal with causing discomfort.
