Your DnD Experience
Tell us about your DnD Travels - I personally have never ventured into the realm of the DnD, this group is the closest I have got. I have seen others play via youtube or livestreams, but never participated myself. I would love to hear about your adventures, tips, tricks, stories, characters, etc. @Cam Parkes @Mary Nunaley @Devonda Duetsch @Lou Parkes @Chris Heijdens @Thomas Sharpe @A.j. Recommendations: If you are wanting something that's like Die-Hard: IN SPACE -- Worlds Beyond Number (podcast) had a great 5 - episode miniseries called Flight of the Icharon, episodes out on youtube. They also did the first Arc-length Campaign of one of the best dramatic actual-plays I've ever listened to. It's called The Wizard, The Witch and The Wild One. Really funny people doing really serious storytelling and laying on the weight of responsibility that comes with being a force for change. My personal xp with all this TTRPG nonsense: I started playing 4th edition D&D, 3.5e D&D and pathfinder in 2010 as a player and loved the freedom to make powerful characters and protect my friends. Once 5th edition D&D came out I played it for about a year or two in some online campaigns and I was building my own in-person campaign with some friends that has now been going strong for 12+ years! I've maintained 6 or so of the same members for about 200 sessions. I've also run a branch-off group for 3 years or so that is in the same world but adventuring in different regions and sharing information with the level 18 party. I also played in some amazing mid-length campaigns with Cam and a few other groups, Calvin+Kyris 4ever #Kyvin I am also writing an original ttrpg and world-setting called Realmshapers: Constellations with my friend Graeme Northcote!
How many sets?
Early tidings, Adventurers! I'm on set today so just a quick discussion question: Do you (or do you think you would) prefer using physical dice over digital? And if so, how many sets of dice do you have? I.e one set with a few extra dice, a set for each character, a specific d20 for each possible skill, etc? Personally I have two sets of dice, one of which is specific for the character in playing as. Then usually a bunch of extra d6 for damage and whatnot. Also a backup d20 in case mine rolls badly. Rollingly, CPawx

4-5 sets worth and one BIG D20 that would damage ppl's tables if I didn't roll it in a box
📝TOPIC OF THE WEEK
Good day, Adventurers! This week, our topic of focus is: FEATS in D&D 5.5e! I have a busy week so most of the posts will be text-based, but we'll focus on everything to do with feats, from what they are, to when you can get them, to which are the best to have. To start us off, here's the definition of a feat: A feat is a special feature not tied to a specific character class. It represents a talent or an area of expertise that gives a character special capabilities. It embodies training, experience, and abilities beyond what a class provides. There are 54 (!) feats, so we'll look into them more this week! So long for now, and I leave you with the poll of the week. CPawx Would you rather:

Skilled feat all the way
FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION...
As we head into the weekend, Adventurers, here’s something FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION: IF IT WERE POSSIBLE (say, via a genie from a magic lamp, a birthday wish, or an interdimensional portal) would you swap your current life for a life in either the D&D or Cosmere universe? Why or why not? Thoughtfully, CPawx

Not if I couldn't bring the people I loved with me. But if I had to pick one? D&D - Exandria. It's a lot easier to learn the tricks I need to make a life as a bard. There's world-changing threats in either but I feel like there's more fun stuff and easier access to magic in the Torilian Realmspace and connected planes like Planechase or Exandria.
