4 Week Challenge - Results
I’ve just finished my 4 Week Challenge to get a faster bike leg on my upcoming Ironman 70.3. I tested my 20 minute max power at the beginning and at the end of the 4 weeks. Here’s what I wrote 4 weeks ago: ‘’Hey everyone, I am new to the community. I’ve just been given my 4 week challenge by Arne. Looking forward to testing myself and getting my power/speed up before my 70.3 here in the Netherlands in June. Have a great weekend 💪🏽👊🏼’’ My 4 Week Challenge Results: • 87% Workouts completed as planned • Result 20 min test 1: 224 Watts • Result 20 min test 2: 257 Watts • 14.7% Improvement • FTP from 213 -> 244 Watts I really enjoyed the challenge, the structure of the training and most importantly testing myself!! What I took most from this challenge is that there is so much potential I unlocked which much more to do. This challenge has really pushed me closer to my goal, even on my easy rides now I feel much stronger & faster which will help with my race in 3 weeks. So I live in the Netherlands and as people know who live here the weather can be quite unassuming, so the only thing I didn’t like was the home workout when the weather was crap because it’s not the same as going out on your bike in the fresh air. I would recommend this challenge to everyone but especially people that are competing. Lastly - I just want to thank the main man!! Amazing coach and person!! Can’t wait for the next 4 week challenge 😜 Apologies for the long post

Judgment Day - Final FTP Test
Hey Everyone, Hope you are all out enjoying the good weather. Today was my FTP test after my 4 week challenge. Last week didn’t go too good as I got knocked off my bike so hence I didn’t post. This week was a bit strange as it was a relatively quiet week leading up today. I can honestly say Arne is a magician, before he even calculates where my FTP is I know myself it has increased massively (and garmin is telling me too). I did my test today after a run, an open water swim this morning and in the 30deg heat and I smashed it. I’m looking forward to seeing the results. And I just want to say thanks to the main man. Have a great weekend y’all 💪🏽🚴🏼

4 Week Challenge - Session 10
Hey All, hope everyone’s challenges and training is going good. At Xmas I bought a Zwift training bike for training at home when the weather wasn’t good but up until today I was struggling with the comfort and constantly getting lower back pain on cycles over an hr. I followed the Zwift guidelines based on my height but today I went total against that, brought the handlebars closer to me and dropped the saddle which actually worked quite well. Anyone have the same issues?

@Arne Peters thanks for this Arne, so correct this is after I made adjustments at stated above and it was wayyyyy more comfier. Saddle is level but might have a play with that too. I take it pointing it slightly down can be more comfortable?

From 234 FTP to 246 FTP in 4 Weeks
Hey everyone! Carlos here, a 43-year-old Spanish guy living in Brisbane, literally the other side of the world from where I grew up. Spending most of my free time on the bike trying to convince myself I’m still young. 😂 What I love about cycling? Easy: spin the legs and f*** off stress. 🚴‍♂️🔥Back in Spain, I loved smashing a big good jamón serrano sandwich in the middle of a long endurance ride… but here in Australia I have to settle for a tinny smashed avo toastie instead. Still, to be fair, the coffee here is bloody good. ☕😂 This year I really want to get properly fit again because honestly… I cannot tolerate my cycling mates finishing ahead of me at the “Brisbane to the Bay” on 14th June. Officially it’s a non-competitive charity ride… but let’s be real — nobody shows up there just for a peaceful Sunday cruise. 😂 The goal is to increase my FTP from 234 to 246 in 4 weeks… or maybe even squeeze out a bit more if the legs cooperate. It’s gonna be hard dragging myself out of bed at 5 am before work to train… but anything for the love of cycling — and for absolutely destroying those motherf****** of friends of mine who never stop training. 😂🚴‍♂️🔥 Let’s see what happens over these 4 weeks… Thanks for read this guys and good luck to every one!!!

@Robert Wagner so I actually got a bike fit done last year and he adjusted the cleats and to be fair my cycling & over feel was much better so I wouldn’t be looking to change that. I can send on a pic of my foot with the shoe on is it?

@Sandra Franssen yeah I agree, that would be a good option and at least you wouldn’t have to throw away the new shoes
