I know some of you know about my partner that I've been with for 5years, that's been incarcerated for 3 of those 5 years. Well he gets released and I go pick him up next Wednesday at midnight (technically Thursday). I have a lot of good feelings, scared feelings, insecure feelings, and the only thing I keep reminding myself of are 4 points. 1. Clear boundaries 2. Proactive listening 3. Open communication 4. Meet him where he is. So send positive thoughts, prayers etc..our way please and thank y'all in advance

Sorry I haven't made it to any of the calls past two weeks. Working full time, and trying to move by myself, has been a challenge to say the least. I may try and find some other groups that do weekend Tea time or calls lol. Bc being CST and working 40+ hrs a week leaves little time for this old man to be able to join. I do however love the discussions, and the variety of people in here. I find this a place where differences don't have to create divisions and I love that for us!
