I just passed the NREMT exam today and even though Paramedic school starts in the spring, I want to get a head start on it. What would you recommend I start memorizing or learning to get a solid base? Thanks in advance.
Yes definitely start with anatomy and physiology and medical terminology...a good book i found useful and still use is on Amazon..recommend by one of my paramedic instructors
Had this my last shift, was negative on V4R..we always do a 12 and a 15..pretty sure this was the 12..but we did give Nitro and fentanyl, called a stemi alert sent the info to the receiving facility and they confirmed it
Worked a swap NYE but did get some studying in between calls...The Paramedic Handbook is amazing..has all the pathophysiology laid out with all the fluff from the main textbook I have cut out..class uses Nancy Caroline...not knocking it..but just way to much extra š
