@Rochelle Beckemeyer Thanks for sharing that clearly, Rochelle. That’s a lot to hold in one person’s hands. If you want, pick one area you want fixed first (maintenance, bills, rent collection, or mowing), and I’ll help you map a simple first fix.

@Barbara Kuczinski, Hi. What steps have you taken so far with the website?
Comment who you serve!
I want to see who really JUST needs a grant or two. I wonder if it would matter if I listed grants. Let us know who you serve and what city and state. (Example: youth in the juvenile justice system in Nashville, TN) ***comment below and ai will find at least one grant or let you know why I can’t find anything.

@Rochelle Beckemeyer That helps. Since both groups drop off when the time commitment becomes real, the role may feel too big. It may be worth testing one clear task with a four-week commitment. How much time are you currently asking volunteers to give each week?

@Rochelle Beckemeyer I think that will help. The 2-to-6-hour range may be making the commitment feel unclear. I’d separate each task on the form, show the exact time and frequency, and test one four-week role with the shortest task first. That gives volunteers a clear finish line instead of an open-ended commitment.

Seeing it set up live is what makes this valuable. Nonprofit leaders hear plenty about what AI can do, but they rarely get to watch the first steps and understand how it fits their actual work. That can turn a big idea into something they can actually use.

Congratulations on getting the 501(c)(3), @Darius Murray. For the driver-training program, start tracking enrollment, completions, licenses earned, and job placements from day one. Those numbers will strengthen future funding applications. Which are you preparing to launch first: the training program or the co-living home?
You do not have to be an expert to help someone here
Sometimes we read a member’s post and want to help, but we are not sure what to say. Try this: 1. Read their full post. 2. Name the part you understand. 3. Ask one question if you need more details. 4. Share one lesson, resource, contact, or next step that may help. 5. Check back later and ask how it went. You do not have to solve everything. One useful reply may be enough to help someone take their next step. Before you leave today, find one member’s post and give them one useful reply. No selling. Just support.
