Orientation Call with Joseph
Just finished the Orientation Call with Joseph. What a blessing it has been. Tremendous help for me. Completed orientation and at 20% on the 101 classes. Looking for to the future and this adventure. This is a tremendous program!!!👍

Looking forward to our next session. Reworked Bootleggers Gold last couple of days using what I have learned so far, much better results. Bad new PC finally gave me the blue screen of death " bad system config." Looks like a bad SSD drive or somehow corrupt window boot up. Looking to replace with a system that will handle the newer DAW requirements. My compressors in this DAW will only allow prest ratios 4,8,12,20,inf. I typically use the old Redbook 12:1 ratio, more headroom. Luke was a big help last night on some Transients with the song we looked at during orientation. I have no visible way of fixing. All good learning experience.

Advice for beginners?
Imagine someone is starting learning mixing or mastering today. What's the one piece of advice you'd give them to help them succeed faster?

As a new member I have learned, it doesn't have to be perfect. Volume is everything, you don't need a bunch of plug-ins, complete the "start here and soon as possible" it will answer your questions moving forward, begin the class room music production 101, engage the weekly event as many as you can, train your ears to hear the shuttle things you can see, be patient things will begin to make better sense. These are just a few things I have learned in just a few weeks. Enjoy every precious moment of the journey you are about to experience.🤗

Cordero Church Sound.
Good morning everyone!! I have a behringer x32 console, and 8 p16 monitors. Our church is a live sound and we have an enclosed drummer, bass guitar, two electric guitars, acoustic guitar, two electric pianos and 6 vocalist, two being the leads, and finally two extra mics for our pastor and a guest speaker. Im trying to figure out if there is a way to stop pre fading going into the monitors in-ears... everytime i adjust the house sound it also changes the volume and or gives a feed back into the monitors. I been volun-told to serve and i love the opportunity. I have found that this is no easy task for anyone without previous schooling and or training. Through my two years of service I have not had any real training and only fix/mix the EQ. I have not been able to figure out how to clean up sound as well as I want in our lives atmosphere and want badly to understand and show confidence that I can adjust and correct issues as they come up. This being one of the harder issues I face as it gets the stage folks irritated as the tool they use is basically useless when I preform any tweeking of the system to better the sound of the house. Again, if you have any pointers or understand how I can correct this issue it would be greatly appreciated and helpful. Thank you for your time and help, God bless.

Did this get fixed? We have the same board at our church and this is how we fixed it: change your monitor mix bus channel send tap point from Post-Fader to Pre-Fader (Pre-Fdr).

Plugin Breakdown Moved For FTM
