Hi everyone 💛 I’m Theodora, co-founder & CEO of Velout — an AI-powered travel startup based in Germany that helps solo travelers find their perfect travel buddy based on personality, travel style, and shared interests. The idea behind Velout was born from a very human problem: loneliness while traveling. We truly believe that the best trips are not only about places, but about the people you share them with. Our mission is to create meaningful human connections around the world through travel 🌍🫂 A little bit about me: I was born in New York, grew up in Germany with Greek roots, studied International Finance and Entrepreneurship & Innovation Management, and today I’m also working as a lecturer and social entrepreneurship coach alongside building Velout. Building a startup as a first-time female founder has honestly been one of the most challenging and beautiful journeys of my life — full of uncertainty, growth, resilience, and incredible people along the way.
