🔨 Weekly Build Thread — What Are You Working On This Week?
Every Monday, same question. What are you building this week? Drop a comment below. One line or ten — doesn’t matter. Show the thing you’re working on. Ask a question. Share a blocker. If you’re stuck, say where. Someone here has probably been stuck in the same place. Here’s the format if you want structure: 🔨 Building: [what you’re working on] 🧱 Stuck on: [what’s blocking you — or “nothing, making progress”] 💡 Tip from last week: [one thing you learned that others might find useful] You don’t have to have something finished. You don’t have to have something impressive. You just have to show up. The builders who get the most from this community are the ones who post before they have all the answers — not after. Reply to someone else’s comment if you’ve solved what they’re stuck on. That’s the whole point of this place. This thread resets every Monday. See you here. 🚀

@Eliya Elmakis Really appreciate this detailed feedback. You’re right about the positioning. The on-site scanning angle is much stronger because it solves the physical-document problem first, then the vault becomes the natural digital home after that. I’m going to bring that much more front and center instead of leading with a generic “secure storage” message. I also agree on the headline. The current one sounds good emotionally, but it doesn’t immediately explain the pain point. I’ll probably test something clearer around helping businesses and families scan, organize, and securely access their important documents. The stats point is fair too. Those numbers were more of a credibility-style section and I can see how they may feel templated without context. I’ll either remove them for now or replace them with more grounded figures as real usage grows. On compliance, that’s a very good catch. For a security product, the copy needs to create confidence, not transfer the burden to the user. I’ll rework that FAQ to explain what safeguards are already in place and what compliance standards we’re aligning toward. Testimonials are also on the list. I agree that real photos, logos, or named business use cases would make the page feel much more complete. For users, the current plan is direct outreach first — targeting Kenyan businesses and professionals who still deal with lots of physical documents, especially legal offices, accounting firms, schools, medical/admin offices, real estate offices, and family-owned businesses. I’m also exploring partnerships around scanning/document digitization because that seems like the strongest wedge into the market. Thanks again — this feedback is exactly the kind of direction I needed.

@Marko Solba the differentiator is the bulk physical scanning component that businesses need. Here in Nairobi many businesses are running on paper-based systems.
