I’ll go first- Tessa hails from Cork Ireland, a strong Irish woman who found her soulmate, Tony, in Shepparton in 2016 after a short period of travelling in 2013. She found her roots here, forming a blended family with Tony, his son Aitan, and later her three sons Alex, Leo and Tommy. With a Bachelors degree in social care and after 18 years working in leadership roles with vulnerable groups in the care industry, it was time for a change. Tessa was a Doula for a few years but since the birth of Tommy last year she is focussed on raising her boys and home educating. Tessa is now creating “the village” so deeply needed, through forming Nurture Tribe, a conscious business venture running womens circles and retreats in the Shepparton area. She sees this as a way of bridging the gap between the isolation of birth and deeper into motherhood, where she had previously searched for connection during her own journey. Tessa’s strengths are abundantly evident through the way she empowers women to feel confident, connected and supported.
