Constellations of Enough — Week One
We’re starting under a later moon tonight. The constellation waited, now it’s ready. Language can still nourish when everything else feels thin. Welcome to Constellations of Enough, our new five-week writing ritual. ✳️ Your Core Star Name something that nourished you without a plate. Orbitals - A kindness that tasted like warmth. - A cupboard dreaming itself complete. - A memory that serves itself again. - Gratitude resting on the tongue until it changes shape. 🌿 Sensory Anchor Inhale something familiar from your kitchen: coffee, rice, cinnamon, air. Listen for the sound it makes when stirred. Write that rhythm. ☄️ Comet Path Compose a recipe poem for resilience. Post your full constellation below (Core Star → Comet Path). Include your Seal of Enoughness at the end: My language still rises, even when the pot remembers scarcity. Tag your post with #ConstellationsOfEnough so the archivists can find it. 🌠 Sky Report Feature - On Friday, two luminous pieces will be shortlisted. - On Friday, the community will vote for our Featured Star. - On Sunday, the Sky Report reveals the chosen writer and the next constellation. - Winners will have the opportunity to have their pieces featured on Gimme the MiC! - Writers who complete all five constellations this month will also be eligible for a Mini Feature at cycle’s end. 🕯️ Deadline Submit by Friday 11 / 7 · 11 PM EST to be part of this week’s sky. Every word you add becomes another light. Let’s see how full this sky can get.
