Man! This stayed with me ALL day!! So just for a few laughs, I am going to truly age myself here… but talking about comfort zones makes me think of the children of Israel, walking in the desert for 40 years, think about the fears they had… but I also always remember that God gives us manna for JUST ONE DAY at a time… and the term “manna” always makes me think of Keith Green song: https://youtu.be/tHyGsUufaQU?si=cEwB7lfY9-Ra5nSk So while some of are still in the same routines, making the best of the manna that God gives every day, knowing that very soon God is going to lead me/us into that Promised Land. Staying the course enjoying the manna that God is giving, can’t wait for all the new things ahead… not wanting to get stuck or comfortable in “what I’ve always done” for the last 40 years. That’s a long time, isn’t it??!!but considering I’m 63, that’s 2/3’s of my life and now I’m doing something different, believing the Promises shared!

Thank you for this group. Melissa said Prov 3:5,6 yesterday and it’s one of my favorites and because of speaking these verses out loud, it readily came to me in the middle of the night last night. Also, Scripture is an offensive weapon as Satan seeks to destroy when Gods work is being done. So there is incredible power in the Word. So thank you for this Promise board. II Cor 10:5 - take every thought captive. I am trusting God today for each step.
