Time for next step HELPING EACH OTHER
I don’t see much interaction on this app and I was really hoping that this would be something I would be following a lot but we need interaction from everybody. I’ve been in recovery ❤️‍🩹 for 29 years, but I haven’t always stayed sober through all of that. I have about a year and a half now let’s communicate with each other and help each other guys and girls. We need each other.

Well, I need it just as much as everybody else does I went to a really rough time today and actually thought for the first time in two years of going to get a bottle of wine or some pot or start smoking again insane I know
Hey Progress Fam! 👋 It's been a minute... Time for a proper reintroduction! 🔥
What’s up everyone? Belle here — your unapologetic recovering addict, substance counselor, and chief mess-maker at Progress is Progress. If you’re new around here or haven’t said hi yet… welcome home. This isn’t your average recovery space. No toxic positivity. No perfect Instagram-filtered healing journeys. Just real-ass people talking about the messy, beautiful, brutal, and hilarious truth of addiction, mental health, codependency, relapse, wins, and everything in between. Progress IS Progress — even when it’s ugly, tiny, or two steps forward and one giant face-plant backward. Let’s reintroduce ourselves properly! Drop a comment below and tell us: Your name (or what you want us to call you) One thing nobody would ever guess about you (the weirder/funnier/more surprising, the better) And throw in a GIF, meme, or funny reaction that represents where you’re at in your journey right now I’ll go first: I’m Belle — I went from meth addict with multiple suicide attempts and rock bottom to licensed clinical substance abuse counselor. Plot twist: I’m still a chaotic gremlin who stress-bakes at 2am and owns way too many houseplants I keep accidentally murdering. Your turn! 👇 Comment. Share this post. Post a GIF that screams “this is me today.” Tag a friend who needs this space. Let’s wake this community up and make it the realest, most supportive corner of the internet. No pressure to be polished. Just be you. Shame dies here. Progress lives here. Let’s fucking goooo 🚀 With messy love and badass grit, Belle ❤️

Quitting
I’m laying in bed after a fight I had. I quit. Officially turning myself in to a hospital and staying there until I’m dead. Never meant to be a winner.

Just one day at a time for me
Some progress, but still have questions
Hey, guys hope all is well with you. Made it to three weeks without relapsing and I now have a job that pays well. I’m at a PHP as well and see a therapist regularly. My next goals are to continue these things and get in contact with some social services for housing. I’m still keeping my promise with Alexy and still not dating anyone at the moment. I get tempted to ask girls often, but I snap myself out of it enough just in time. I wanted to ask all of you is me being motivated by having a girlfriend again a good or bad thing? I know I have to do these things for me, but I can’t help but ponder this question. Let me know your thoughts

Just sharing a little bit of my story when I first started to get clean and sober in 1997 I met a man that was in recovery which was good because he kept me staying on track, but I wanted to throw everything into my relationship with him and then I would not have been willing to do the steps go to meetings. I would’ve been letting him feel the place that a higher power is supposed to fill and help us with recovery, but I did end up marrying him and we had a recovery ranch together, which helped us both stay sober and we had over 6000 men that went through our program in 17 years and over 1500 women that went to our program in 17 years so GOD turned everything around that was horrible in my life in spite of me
