🌿Check-in🌿
🌿 Plant Parents Check-In! 🌿 Real talk—plants don’t come with instruction manuals, and neither do we. So let’s do a quick pulse check 👇 What season are you in right now? 🌱 Thriving – everything’s growing and you’re feeling confident 🍃 Learning – some wins, some “why are you drooping??” moments 🥀 Struggling – plants AND motivation are a bit meh 🪴 Restarting – took a break and easing back in Drop the emoji that fits you best and, if you want, tell us one plant you’re proud of OR one that’s currently testing your patience 😅 No judgment here—this is a learning + growing space (for humans too).

I'm grateful to say that my plants indoors are thriving. I also live in SC and have grow lights 💡 on timers that seem to really help. I also use the Greg app for watering reminders. I let the outdoor plants succumb to the ❄️ season, things are just beginning to thaw out from the snow and freezing rain.

I lost my mom today so its been a pretty rough day to say the least. And my dad has been gone for 12 yrs now. And they broke up many many years ago. Tonight they helped me finish my plant room. The amethyst and insense burner are from my dad, and the sage is from my mom, and they are all on a live edge table top that my dad made. Couldn't be more fkn perfect becuase they pushed me to pursue my passion. In both horses and plants. 💔💔💔💔💔💔😭😭😭😭😭😭

I'm always learning as a plant enthusiast caring for around 50 indoor plants. I adore pothos, monsteras, hoyas, calatheas, alocasias, and philodendrons. I also enjoy creating terrariums and outdoor gardening-when the weather permits. 👩🏾‍🌾
Plant care reminder:
🌱 Plant Care Reminder: Be Gentle With Yourself 🌱 If you needed a sign today… this is it. You’re doing better with your plants than you think. Every plant parent—no matter how experienced—has had a plant that struggled, got crispy, melted, or straight up said “I’m out.” It doesn’t mean you’re bad at caring. It means you’re learning, observing, and growing right along with your plants. Plants don’t come with one-size-fits-all instructions. Sometimes it's the light, sometimes the soil, sometimes the plant just wasn’t meant for your space. And that’s okay. 💚 So water your favorites, check on your new sprouts, and remember:✨ A lost plant is not a failure. It’s part of the journey.✨ Every plant teaches you something.✨ And you’re still a great plant parent. Keep growing—one leaf at a time. 🌿💫 This ficus is proof that patience takes time. This guy had me freaking out loosing leaves left n right for awhile...you can tell...the bottom half used to have leaves....but then I moved him n didnt water him for like 2-3 months, and now he's doing much better. :) So dont loose hope!!! Have a great day!

🌿🔥 PLANT PEEPS1— I NEED THE TEA. 🔥🌿 What’s the one plant that absolutely humbled you… and what wild thing did it do? We all have THAT plant — the one we swore we could handle, the one we researched, babied, rotated, misted, whispered to…and it STILL pulled a dramatic “I’m not doing this anymore” and died (or is currently in witness protection behind your other plants). 👇 Drop yours in the comments: - Name the plant - What went wrong - And whether you’ve forgiven it yet 😂 Bonus points for pics of the crime scene 🌱📸Let’s see who has the most dramatic plant story! Personally, id have to say, anytime I buy a fern..every time! I love them, but the only way they stay alive is in a terrarium..like this one.

I've lost several Peace Lilies. I thought it was the water, so I started using tap water conditioner and changed the lighting conditions. I use a water meter to ensure they need watering. I have one I’ve been raising for a year now. I got it when it was in a 2-inch pot. Growth has been slow, and there’s been no flowering yet. But it's living, and the leaves look pretty and healthy. I'm not buying anymore, though. 😄
