Intro: I’m Ted Curran, a recent college grad working in the energy sector with a growing curiosity about AI. At present, I often keep a ChatGPT tab open and have experimented with AI on a limited range of tasks. I know I’ve barely scratched the surface of what’s possible and I’m excited to learn more. Bonus: One recent moment that really blew my mind as an AI newbie (with essentially no coding background) was seeing how effectively Claude built a user-friendly data scraping tool from scratch. I hadn’t used Claude much before, but it handled the task far better than ChatGPT in that instance, and it opened my eyes to just how powerful these tools can be.
