Tips
💡 Tip for Tip Tuesday: Start Before You Feel Ready
A lot of women wait until they have the “perfect” logo, perfect pens, perfect photos, or perfect confidence before starting their beadable pen business. Truth is? Your first sale comes from ACTION, not perfection. ✨ 🖊️ Start with what you have 🖊️ Post the pens you’ve made 🖊️ Tell people you’re open for orders 🖊️ Learn as you go Every successful business owner started as a beginner. 💬 Tell me in the comments: What’s ONE thing holding you back right now? Let’s work through it together inside Beadable Pen Business by Women 💜

@Sarah Friot thanks for the words of encouragement

Tell us one non-business (OR PERSONAL) thing about you. What are you watching, reading, obsessing over, or eating right now?

I love to read & I also write poetry but haven't written anything in way too long.
Real Talk
What's actually hard about this right now? Not the 'I'm figuring it out' version — the real one.

Before and After
Before selling beadable pens: I thought posting cute pens was enough to make sales. After selling beadable pens: I know consistency, building trust, and actually talking to people matters way more. What about you? Go. Before (TOPIC): how you thought (TOPIC) worked. After (TOPIC): what you actually know now. Go.

I have made many pens but have yet to sell. I'm trying to push myself to get out of my comfort zone. Well I did sell a few to family but that's it.
Opinions
What's an opinion about work from home that most people won't say out loud? Mine is working from home isn’t always easier. Sometimes it’s harder because people expect you to be available 24/7 while still managing kids, chores, appointments, and life. Freedom is amazing, but it still takes discipline, boundaries, and consistency.

I agree people think working from home is easier in some aspects it is. Like not having the commute. But there are so many distractions and things that need to be done. In office I used my breaks for me, at home I rarely do and find some house work, things to start my business really any & everything to do. I am going to make it a habit to get back to letting my breaks and lunch be for some self care time. A good book, Bible Study or just being.
