Morning from London
Hi All. I used to work with Shani many years ago. I’m really interested in all kinds of writing. Today as well as working as a medical journalist and editor, I also write fiction and occasionally dabble in creative non-fiction. Always looking to improve my writing and keen for any tips!

Thank you for your kind words! @Shani Raja was one of my first editors, and the only one to dedicate time to teaching the craft of writing. What I learnt back then has informed so much of my career as a journalist over the years. Shani taught me that writing with precision and clarity can be elegant too. I’m now writing fiction and my first novel will be published next year. I’m currently working on the second!

Question for fellow authors...
If you could go back and give yourself one piece of advice before publishing your very first book, what would it be? For me, it would be to focus on building relationships with readers from the beginning, not just finishing the manuscript. I'm curious to hear your answer. What's the one thing you wish you had known sooner?
