Skool now has a $9 plan!
If you've been on the fence about starting your own membership on Skool or moving your community and audience over NOW is the time. ⏳ Why? Because the new $9 plan gives you an incredible amount of functionality for almost nothing. It’s kind of wild. 😲 Here’s my affiliate link if you’re ready to jump in: 👉 Go here. (You don't have to use my link, but if you do sign up with Skool, I'd be grateful 🙏🏼) Here’s why I love using Skool and always recommend it: 👇🏼 Skool stands out from other course platforms because it blends community, content, and accountability into one seamless experience. Here’s what makes it amazing: 🔁 1. Community + Course in One Place Most platforms separate your course from your community (think: Kajabi + Facebook). Skool combines both so students stay engaged without hopping platforms. 🧠 2. Gamified Engagement - Members earn points for contributing. - Leaderboards create natural motivation. - It encourages action, not just passive watching. 🔒 3. Simple, Clean UX - Students don’t get lost. - No overwhelming dashboards. - Everything is intuitive—works great on mobile and desktop. 📆 4. Built-in Calendar & Events - Host live calls, Q&As, challenges—all within Skool. - No need for extra Zoom links scattered in emails. 🚀 5. Fast Setup & No Tech Overwhelm - Launch a group in minutes. - No need for duct-taping tools like Kajabi, FB Groups, Slack, or Teachable together. 💸 6. Flat Monthly Fee, No Tech Headaches - One price. No upsells. No per-user pricing. - Less stress than trying to integrate 3–4 tools to do what Skool does in one. And my favorite: Sam Ovens includes everything you need and nothing you don't need. He's been a minimalist for years and it shows in his product.

God is really smart, so why not do it WITH Him?
Before, during and after every step of my business I intend to consult with God. He doesn't build it apart from me. I don't build it apart from Him. I build it WITH Him. Before I choose a marketing funnel. Before I build a mini-course. Before I meet with a prospect. Before I post a new YT video. If I really believe that God is who He says He is, with infinite knowledge and all wise, why would I not seek His guidance in every single step I take? You are not building your business apart from God. That would be deism. And God is not building it for you. That would be fatalism. God wants to build it WITH you. Why did Jesus leave earth and trust His disciples to carry on the Great Commission? Because He would not do it FOR them. That's one reason He left. But nor would He let them do it apart from Him. That's one reason He gave them His spirit. Do your business with God. At your side. Before you. Behind you. With you. Brother, you cannot go wrong if you build your business this way. What's the next step you want to ask Him about?

This is huge. I find it easy to fall into "I don't need God" mentality or on the other extreme, "I'll just be faithful and God determines the outcome." But a lot of times what I mean by "faithful" is simply doing the work while not having any major sin in my life. But when Jesus shared the message about the steward being faithful, it clearly mean being productive, smart, and resourceful. If I just build my business with average effort and because I'm not deep into any sin I call that "faithful" I have destroyed what faithful really means. For example, what does an unfaithful stewards look like? One who does NOT grow his master's wealth. One who is sloppy with his wealth. One who makes excuses like "God wants me to live by faith" as an excuse for sloppy financial management. If I am going to be faithful, that means I will leverage my time and resources wisely and with excellence to grow them into abundance so that Jesus' words about the unrighteous being more shrewd than the righteous do not apply to me (Luke 16:8)!

I remember this: when my business encounters failures along the way, those are my fault. And when my business success, that too is my fault. Everything is my fault. Even if it's not, this mentality frees me to take ownership and shake off the victim mentality.
