Flash Fiction Face-Off Welcome to Flash Fiction Face-Off, our monthly Academy writing game where one prompt becomes a whole pile of tiny stories, questionable choices, and community voting. On the 1st day of every month, the first member to post a Flash Fiction prompt gets to choose that month’s official challenge. If nobody posts a prompt by the end of the day, Tara will post one. Once the prompt is chosen, everyone has 3 weeks to write a fictional story inspired by it. Stories must be 500 words or less. During the final week of the month, Academy members vote by liking their favorite story. The winner receives bragging rights, a featured post, and the title: Champion of Questionable Decisions No writing experience required. No permission required.
