Day 24 - Well-Shepherded Child of God
David, once a shepherd himself, understood the deep care and responsibility a shepherd has for his sheep. In Psalm 23, he paints a prophetic picture of Jesus as our Good Shepherdānot only for eternity, but for our daily lives right now. When we make Jesus our Lord, He takes full responsibility for guiding, providing, and protecting us. His promise goes beyond meeting basic needsāHe assures that we will lack no good thing when we trust Him completely. Just as David declared, āThe Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want,ā we can rest in the same confidence today. Godās desire is that we live abundantly, with every need supplied and every step directed by His loving care. Question to Ponder: Am I allowing Jesus to truly shepherd every area of my lifeātrusting Him not just to save me, but to lead, provide, and care for me daily so that I lack no good thing?
