Learning to listen to ourselves!
Iโ€™m not a dietician, although I have worked alongside them closely in a previous life, and I donโ€™t follow any strict guidelines to what I eat however if I go through a stage of craving high sugar processed foods. It usually means Iโ€™m in a state of stress or overload. For any women out there who go through the Monthly sugar cravings our bodies do crave additional calories instinctively through cycles, itโ€™s just in a modern world. Our brain now associates those calories with sugar, a handful of nuts good quality oils and fats can also help satiate this. But the last week or so. I have been craving vegetables. I canโ€™t get enough nothing extra extravagant. Just tasty crunchy goodness. I believe what we put in our bodies is also an important part of this journey and as we work through becoming more conscious. What we are craving at Different stage stages can also provide us with really good feedback. Fresh foods carry their own energy and vibration! Our body knows what it needs! Food shopping is Monday so this was just a mixture that was left in the fridge, lettuce, cucumber avo, olives, some days Iโ€™ll add nuts and seeds. Dressing- seseme oil, white rice vinegar, crushed ginger, sweet soy sauce and a little balsamic glaze. Donโ€™t get me wrong I still have absolutely no guilt having Take Away chocolate, ice creams an occasional alcoholic beverage but what Iโ€™m noticing the further I go in this journey the less I feel I want those things, the consciousness for me of having a drink, Dulls my mind, As I get older, hangovers are a lot easier to come by and a lot harder to move through, and if I eat too many refined sugars at one time I also know I will feel lethargic and dull afterwards so when they are consumed, itโ€™s now with clarity and in most cases no longer in excess. When you think about it, Is there anything you used to do or consume alot that you are now finding youโ€™re moving away from instinctively or not doing as often? Or is there something your noticing your instinctively moving towards?

..im trying to be more conscious about the WAY I eat. I have an aunt that always tells me to slow down when I eat. I contemplated why I do this, I realised I never broke out of the habit, I developed over 30 years ago. 4 kids under 7, it was eat on the run, multi- tasking, before one of the kids started crying or woke up ๐Ÿคฃ highlights how habitual patterns can develop, unconsciously.. so working on it. I just had fried eggs and avo, watching the sunset, was stunning ๐Ÿ˜
