Quick Learning Log — April 12
1. What I Tried Today I’ve been trying for months to get a project I genuinely believe in off the ground. 2. What Actually Happened I was repeatedly told the issue had to be my execution. Because I’m someone who defaults to self‑blame, I took that seriously — and spent months trying to force a square peg into a round hole. 3. The Friction I Noticed I made several attempts to explain to customer service that the problem wasn’t my execution — it was the computer framework I was assigned. Those conversations didn’t go well. That pushed me to the edge of wanting to quit. But after a week of sitting with that, I’m still not willing to throw away everything I’ve learned, invested, and worked for.So I asked again for the issue to be fixed, and I’m currently waiting for a reply. 4. What I Learned About the Process I learned that even when a coach or leader insists the product is flawless, you can’t ignore what’s right in front of your eyes.I also learned that letting someone else push you out of something you’ve worked hard for — something you deserve — is its own form of self‑sabotage. 5. What I’m Adjusting Next My next move is to get the problem fixed and re‑engage in the process by Friday. This will be an intense reboot, so this part of my business model may need to be set aside again until posting up to 15 times a day becomes second nature. Wish me luck — even if no one sees this, I’m wishing it for myself.
