I’ve been working on tearing out my old bedroom closet & adding a bigger one. Still have a lot to do to finish but I’ve discovered under the carpet the old hardwood floor. Debating taking the carpet out & refinishing the floors. To do or not to do is the question… still have to get rid of old plaster that’s uneven & skim coat then frame in the new bigger closet. Since buying this old house I never understood why someone would make a closet with the vent in ( couldn’t use 1/2 of it because.) need help deciding on floor.
