Everyone exhaling at the same time, pulling us out of our heads and into the present moment. It’s why a stranger can give you a smile and that somehow feels deeper than most conversations. Music breaks down the walls we walk around with every day, and the dance floor becomes this weird, beautiful space where you are allowed to be exactly who you are. And that’s honestly what I love most about our scene. It’s never just about the lineups or which genres are trending… It's about us showing up for each other without even realizing we’re doing it. Hello all happy new year! I'm seeking help to throw a couple all ages parties, one on Family day the other easter Monday. I threw both of these parties last year at the downbeat with phenomenal success, we even made the Chek 6 news! We have a hall booked for this round as theres no kiddos at the club any more we just need hands on deck. We are looking to raise funds for a website to get some form of legitimacy to approach city hall in Vic to throw some larger publicly sanctioned events in Beacon hill park or maybe even some place i dont know about yet in a different municipality who is supporting of this type of fun, Victoria can be sleeeeeepy.
