It’s very important to pat—not wipe—the concealer into the skin. Patting allows the product to properly set into the foundation and prevents creasing. Immediately after patting in the concealer, apply your loose setting powder directly onto the still-wet concealer. This step helps absorb excess moisture and locks the makeup in place. This helps brighten the under-eye area while still blending seamlessly with the rest of your complexion. The best way to test concealer shades is by applying them to the inside of your forearm. Choose the shade that most closely matches and brightens your skin tone in that area, as it provides a reliable comparison to how the product will appear on your face.
