How was your week?
Identifying how we're feeling allows us to be present. It helps to let us know how others may be receiving our attitude and behavior. It serves as an opportunity to address the issues behind how we're feeling. If stress, anxiety, tiredness, lack of focus, and distractions are a part of your daily routine, I encourage you to add time to your calendar to rest, pause, and meditate. That can be as simple as finding a quiet space at home or at work, and just sitting in peace and quiet. And instead of you being on the never-ending journey to looking for peace, this quiet time allows your peace to find you. Think about trying the Calm app. There's a 14-day free trial, and then it's $17/month. I've heard great reviews about it. Personally, I use the Bible. Anytime I feel stressed, anxious, frustrated, distracted, or feeling lost, I stop trying to move forward and push through it. I go to my quiet space, read my Bible and talk to God to get back on track. Do what works best for you.

Being prepared = greater productivity!
Fridays are normally the days when we are trying to wrap up the long week we just had, but what if you could use today to prepare for next week. Planning helps to reduce stress, remove anxiety, and helps you to show up as the prepared leader. I believe that when we take the time to think about the projects that we're working on, the tasks that it will take to meet goals, we can make a weekly plan that don't leave us looking for Friday on Monday mornings. Attached is a chart that I used for over 20 years and actually had over 50 of my peers using this same system that helped them maximize their time and not be stressed over daily activities. Seeing how helpful it was, I turned this one page into a full productivity planner! You can grab the planner on Amazon: https://amzn.to/4lfVv2v

Understanding God's Sufficient Grace
On this last day of January 2026, let's focus on God's grace and how He's carried us all month long, even when we didn't do as he guided us to do. And at times when we feel not ready, God's grace will cover you to help you keep going. 2 Corinthians 12:9 states "Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me."
