Helpful Resource for Team Alignment:
The C.H.A.R.T. Framework is something I created and use to help when a team is not aligned, aka- → Missed deadlines. → Confusion over roles. → Frequent conflicts. C - Clear Goals: Set clear goals to align everyone's efforts. H - Hold Check-Ins: Schedule regular check-ins to keep communication open. A - Assign Roles: Define roles so each team member knows their part. R - Reinforce Collaboration: Encourage collaboration to build a cohesive unit. T - Timely Feedback: Provide feedback to guide and improve performance. Address these issues promptly- alignment is key to your team's success!

@Aryana Apanaska Glad you are enjoying- yes, I would strongly suggest 1:1 if you are a manager/team. lead. Ideally, I would love to see 45 min 1:1 for every team member 1x a week. I know it sounds crazy, but its super powerful and I have seen unreal results from leaders who do it.. In terms of team check-ins- I love to run an end-of-week workshop to do a quick checkin on wins, challenges, and room for improvement for the next week- obvisouly each team has their own dynamics and it can't always work. I remember at one company i worked out, they gave us summer hours so we would be off for 1/2 of Friday and didnt have time to do the workshhop so it depends- but these shouldn't be longer than 30 min max.
🤔 Fun question to ask you all:
Q: If you had to name your BIGGEST challenge at work in 2024 IN ONE WORD, what would it be?? (There's no right or wrong answer)

This month's Product Bookclub is Strategize
What's up everyone! Feels like it's been a while since I wrote one of these. Hope you all had a great summer and are raring to go for the last push for the year. It was great to re-read Good Strategy / Bad Strategy, it's a great book - but it was definitely a harder read than I remembered, but maybe that's just because I'd read it before? Would love to hear how you all found it below! This time round we'll be sticking to the Strategy theme, with Strategize - by Roman Pichler. I picked this up a few months back on the recommendation of a friend and have been keen to get to it, it's one of the few well rated books that actually calls itself a product strategy book, so I've been really curious! _________________________ What’s Product Bookclub? _________________________ It's an online bookclub for the members of Product Synthesis - each round I’ll announce a new Product book that I’ll be reading, and anyone in the community is welcome to read (or listen) along with me! If you’re like me, and love reading, but don’t have enough people to discuss what you’re learning, then this’ll be perfect for you! We'll run this round until the end of the month, and we'll do a check-in on the 12th & 26th of September, you'll find all the calls in the calendar. _________________________ Are you gonna take part? If so, let me know in the comments!

👋 Hello from Tamar Stolz
My name is Tamar Stolz. I live in Chicago, IL and I just launched my own business working as a Product Strategy and UX consultant. I am on a mission to empower product and UX teams to align their strategies with business goals for impactful, measurable outcomes. I provide guidance, mentorship, and tailored frameworks for UX and product managers, supporting them through alignment challenges and empowering them to take on more strategic roles within their organizations. I also run workshops and create resources to facilitate better alignment across teams, especially those in mid-sized SaaS companies. Like many consultants, building visibility and forming new relationships with potential clients was initially a challenge. It took trial and error to find the right channels and messages that resonate with product managers and teams, but I've learned to embrace authenticity and show up in ways that are genuine, which has helped me build trust and grow my audience. Fun fact about me: I am a drummer and love music! When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful family- my husband and 2 delicious kids! Looking forward to connecting with you all!
