Five-Star Business Audit
Two weeks on people, money, margin, boundaries, fun, identity, and options. Now straight into the business. Score yourself 1 to 5 on each. Be honest, nobody is grading this but you. - IDEAL BUYER: I know exactly who I am selling to. - LEADS: I have a consistent way to get in front of them. - NURTURE: I stay connected without only showing up when I need a sale. - ASK: I know how to move a conversation toward a decision. - FOLLOW-UP: I have a process for after interest, silence, or a no. - PIPELINE: I know what opportunities are moving right now. Then the real question: Do you actually have a sales strategy, or are you running on content, referrals, and hope? There is no shame in the second one. Most of us started there. But you cannot fix what you will not name. Post your lowest-scoring category. Just the category, that is all.

How to Sell to Schools When You Hate Selling
You can run a tough data meeting with a room full of adults and never blink. But pitching your own work to a district? Your stomach drops. That makes sense. Nobody ever taught you how to sell. Selling to schools is a skill, and you can learn it. On Saturday, September 26, I'm showing you how to do it in a way that still sounds like you. No pushy scripts. No pretending to be somebody you're not.

What would more money let you stop tolerating?
We talk about revenue constantly. Today I want to make it personal. Not what you would buy. What would you stop putting up with? - A job you outgrew four years ago - No margin, ever - Always choosing the cheapest option - Not being able to help your mother the way you want to - A business that only works when you are working every minute of it This is why I keep saying money creates options. Options are the actual product. Finish this sentence: More income would give me the option to ________. Then tell me one more thing: what revenue source are you counting on right now to create that option? Be honest. If the answer is "I am not sure yet," say that. That is where a lot of us are.

More income would give me the option to say no to odd jobs and spend longer times with my family. I'd like to take the VIP options. My current revenue sources are school district contracts and my company's signature SPED trainings.
Honest question, no judgment. 👀
When you upload an RFP into AI, what is the first thing you usually ask it to do? Most people type some version of "summarize this for me." And AI does exactly what you asked. It condenses. Which means it decides what is important enough to keep, and something gets cut. Sometimes what gets cut is the required signature page. Or the mandatory pre-proposal meeting. Or the pricing form that has to be submitted separately. Drop your usual first prompt below. I want to see what everybody is actually doing, and I will tell you what I would change about it. New video is up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ZDheP9YUJo And the AI Proposal Workshop is August 29 if you want to see this done live: You Have AI. Where Are the Contracts? · Live Workshop Aug 29

Great video by the way! I typically read the scope of work to get an idea and avoid the super long ones but I love the way you provided a peek into your thinking around using AI to summarize the RFP. The last time I did use a prompt was the following...Research the following. Let me know what exactly they want in the contractor; Original Bid Number: 26-04-50 New Bid Number: 26-04-50 Addendum 1 Bid Title: Career & Technical Education Career Pathways & Professional Network Services
Which Pathway Will You Try Next?
Dr. Shenelle just gave ten pathways to school contracts: RFPs, vendor registration, referrals, direct outreach, conference speaking, thought leadership, existing clients, cooperative purchasing, strategic partnerships, and grant-funded opportunities. Pick ONE you have never tried. Name it below, and tell us the first small step you will take on it this week. Building multiple pathways starts with trying a second one. Drop your answer below. 👇 Want to stop waiting and start moving? Grab the free School Contract Starter Kit here: https://contractstarterkit.com/
