Ooops!
Whatโ€™s the coolest thing youโ€™ve ever found on the ground completely by accident? Doesn't have to be a crystal.

@Cassandra Kiehn what a beautiful collection! I am sick today (flu I think), so when I get better in a few days I will post pictures of mine.

If you could spend one full day exploring anywhere, would you pick: - a forest - a crystal shop - an old bookstore - a flea market - a cave - or a beach full of tide pools?

I was just doing some housekeeping of my wire wrapping supplies and came across a few specimens that I had forgotten about and I thought Iโ€™d share them with you all.

Crystal Spotlight - Gobi Agate
Gobi Agate feels like holding a piece of time that has been shaped by wind, sand, and stillness. These stones come out of the Gobi Desert already finished by nature, with soft edges, textured surfaces, and markings that almost look intentional. Thereโ€™s a quiet steadiness to them. The kind that just holds its ground and lets everything else softly settle around it. ๐—ฃ๐—ต๐˜†๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—ข๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜ƒ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜„ Gobi Agate is a variety of chalcedony, part of the quartz family, formed millions of years ago and later exposed and shaped by desert conditions. Composition: Silicon dioxide (SiOโ‚‚) Hardness: 6.5 โ€“ 7 Color: Earth tones, reds, browns, creams, tans, grays; sometimes banded or patterned Luster: Waxy to dull, often matte due to wind erosion Localities: Primarily the Gobi Desert (Gobi Desert) across Mongolia and northern China What makes these stand out is the natural surface texture. Many have pitted, dimpled, or โ€œetchedโ€ appearances from sand abrasion, and some display โ€œeyeโ€ patterns or natural banding. ๐—˜๐—ป๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ด๐—ฒ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ฐ & ๐— ๐—ฒ๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ฝ๐—ต๐˜†๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—ค๐˜‚๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ถ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜€ Gobi Agate carries a grounded, ancient kind of presence. This is earth energy that has been weathered, shaped, and refined through long periods of exposure and change. Thereโ€™s a stabilizing effect here, especially for those of us who feel pulled in too many directions or who spend a lot of time in thought, emotion, or energetic awareness. It brings things back into the body. Back into the moment. ๐—ง๐—ต๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐˜€๐˜๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฒ ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐˜€ ๐˜๐—ผ ๐˜€๐˜‚๐—ฝ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜: Steady emotional processing Patience through long cycles Feeling rooted during change Reconnecting with physical presence It doesnโ€™t try to shift everything all at once. It creates space for things to settle so the next step becomes clear on its own. ๐—–๐—ผ๐—น๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐—ฉ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€ & ๐—ง๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ถ๐—ฟ ๐—ฆ๐˜‚๐—ฏ๐˜๐—น๐—ฒ ๐—™๐—ผ๐—ฐ๐˜‚๐˜€ Gobi Agates vary quite a bit depending on their mineral content and formation conditions: Reddish tones: warmth, vitality, gentle activation Creams and tans: grounding, simplicity, stabilizing the nervous system Banded or patterned pieces: cycles, rhythm, long-term perspective

I have a box of bracelets. You give me a number between 1 and 40. I will close my eyes and count bracelets until I reach your number. That is your crystal material for the day. Example: โ€œYour choice was Lepidolite. Be honestโ€ฆ have you been spiraling a little? Itโ€™s fine. This oneโ€™s basically a deep exhale in crystal form.โ€ Aaaaaaaand GO!
