Question: I colud not attend the live last Thrursday. Is there a link to the replay for Day 3?

Hi everyone! I’m Sylvie from Luxembourg. I mostly write orchestral and cinematic music and currently spend a slightly unreasonable amount of time learning composition, orchestration, production and all the other things that seem to multiply the deeper you get into this. 😄 Mastering is still one of the more mysterious corners for me — especially knowing what actually needs fixing, what doesn’t, and when to stop before I make it worse. So I’m here to hopefully replace some guesswork with better ears and better decisions. Looking forward to learning with you all!

@Petrea Pirvu Yes youtube on the long run is just assembling not fitting puzzle pieces and very time consuming for no great result.

@Demond Welch Yes I am eager to learn. Well I would consider myself rather on the beginner level. Actually I a composer who wants to go in film music mixing/production. That means I am up to many different courses and never really got into mixing/production because they seemed last to me in the chain. But now : here I am. My problem is time to do it all at the same time 🤣

The way out of the fear goes through your fear. So, when I saw this course I just went for it: because I feel mixing is a mystery at the end of the composition chain and the right moment is never happening in life. I prefer grab chances when they occur. My time for this being quiet tight (I am doing so many courses by now, which all slowly klick together, there is nothing of all I could just put aside) I commit doing whats possible to do this course thouroughly, in the time it will need. May it be long or short, easy or difficult. Just show up again and again. Managing things moment by moment as they happen. Slowly but steadily building the craft and knowledge: It will add up. Where it will lead me, time will tell. I prefer the moment to expectation and excessive ego mania. Because the power is in every moment, not in the future nor in yesterday.
