Spanish Notebook Video Course: Day 2
Day 2 of the Spanish Notebook Course features with a pronunciation hack for difficult Spanish words, followed by a set of 'Verb Cups' that generate a surprising amount of Spanish Conversation. This video is a 2-minute clip from today's 30 minute video class. The complete Spanish Notebook Video Course is available in the Classroom section of this group (see the attached image). Or just click here: https://www.skool.com/anylanguage/classroom The promise of the course is: 30 Minutes a Day, 20 Days. Conversational Spanish. Using only a notebook. (Just do exactly what I do in the videos.) The price of the course is currently $20 (for you early-birds), and is subject to increase later. Sign up now for lifetime access.

Learn to say true things! This is good to remember through out the day… say something true about the moment to practice speaking.
Hands on Arabic
I figured I'd take Tony's concept for hands on Spanish and apply it to Levantine arabic. I started cutting out some cards with a few questions. Here is "when do you go to work? I'll probably do this for the 20 opi questions. I included the English pronunciation on the front of the cards until I get better at reading arabic.

@Bakam Oo BUT MSA is not spoken! Egyptian is understood in other countries because of the movies.

@Bakam Oo Do you speak Egyptian Arabic? Always looking to connect with people that do!
Tipping point
Using the belt system analogy, should there be a feeling of spanish getting easier/better at about the green belt level? Is there an aha moment where you feel like you are getting it? Is it typical to feel like you are not making forward progress? Struggling with my spanish this week and it is frustrating me. I can accept it if its just a me problem but I was curious if anybody else had these same things happening to them. Thanks in advance and keep up the good work.

@Tony Marsh oh this is a fun idea.
My Egyptian Friend in NYC Says Hello!
While practicing some Arabic street interactions, my new friend says مرحبا (Mar7aba) to @Jack Mason and @Christopher Lewis, and everyone in the Skool Community (or doesn't). I said 'Zack' instead of 'Jack' because in my mind it was conflated with 'Izzayak?' -- Egyptian Dialect for 'How are you?' -- Sorry Zack, I mean Jack. A testament to how the mind does weird things in the heat of Real Life language interaction.
