Shopify? Selling Prints
Hello! I am gathering some work that I will be making available for purchase for prints in the near future… I have never done this before! Who here sells prints online? And do you use Shopify? Or another sales platform/widget? Please share your experience with selling online on a web-based platform! I think that Instagram also has a storefront feature or at least it did a few years ago when I was working for a retail company… TIA! 🎨🎨🎨🎨🎨

@Kay Hutchings ooooh keep in touch!! I have paid for a wix domain for years and I’m hoping before July to have overhaul my website or else switched to another platform. Since I was accidentally rebuild for another two years though, I feel like I might as well just use wix

@Marieke Mertz I love that !! I might try out a small inventory on hand since embellishing the work with rhinestones has becomes a theme in my current stuff! I think it would pop on a print

Hello everyone! I already posted a message in the free group, but I’m reposting here too. I'm really eager to connect with mural artists! My dream is to travel the world and paint large murals on buildings (big facades). I have been already travelling the world actually while painting, but I'm always curious how some artists get those amazing opportunities. I would love to connect with you and exchange insights

@Rossella Rz Your style is so cool! And I absolutely love your octopus and the florals! I can see these in city walls yes yes. Somewhere in Honolulu too! I always sort of thought that if I pursued mural work, I would be reaching out to local businesses and buildings that have this space on a wall, but no pizzazz. Like cold calling… But since I would be the one reaching out, I would offer a mural at a discounted rate? I know @Maria Brophy has some thoughts on discountingart, I think one time when we talked a few years ago she said that it’s not a bad idea if the objective is to purely get yourself noticed!

@Rossella Rz here’s some of mine! The big room is my friends surf school in Florida. It was a freebie because I figured it would lead to some interest… it didn’t 😅
