Ok, I'll be 65 in January, and so I went on mysocialsecurity.gov and it says I'm enrolled in Medicare part A & B and my premiums are 0$, before I received my card & an application for help pay for A & B today? Another words I just now mailed it in but shows up in SSA but not in my YourTexasBenefits, it shows I still have Medicaid, so I'm confused, should I wait and see what happens once they receive my application for Medicare Savings Program?

I was receiving survivors until I turned 62 and was forced to draw from my record bc it was 20$ more than his. He would be 67 this year so can I draw 100% of his SS once he turned 67?? It will be higher than mine which is now locked in at what 72%? I am 64 and have to be supplemented with SSI

Can and when can I get 100% of my deceased husbands SS? I am 64, and he would be 67. I was receiving 71% of his SS until I turned 62 then was forced to file on my record, bc it was 20$ more & I was supplemented with SSI bc it was only 841$.Also he had not started his SS yet and was receiving disability, SSI. I too was on SSI disability when he passed.

My mother-in-law, Julie, is not receiving surviving spousal social security benefits. Bud died 23 years ago. He had collected SS when he was alive. I have his SS #. I do not have his employment history except the name of the company he retired from. I have Julie's SS # also and I know what she is currently receiving from SS. She is also receiving surviving spouse VA benefits. Will she still quality for surviving spouse SS benefits? I am handling this because she is in an assisted living facility.
