Cheap and Classy: Frugal Living
I have started a new adventure on how to live a frugal lifestyle while still being that well-put-together, organised woman. I would love to hear stories about how others have kept their lives within their budget while presenting the best version of themselves to the world. I'll go first; I love going to thrift shops. I look for the high-end tags and real leather belts. When it comes to a classic look, time doesn't discriminate, and we all look like a million dollars. Anyone else?

Here I go second, too! I had dinner at my girlfriend's house, and she pulled out these very classy white serving dishes. She bought them at the local thrift shop, and they looked amazing on her table! And the food was divine!

Another frugal idea: I believe in slow fashion. I dress in classical designs and classic colours and stay away from patterns as best as I can unless it is an accessory. On the other hand, I see one of my girlfriends continually buy anything with a pattern on it, and it tends to look old after one year. I also see the chair at the end of her bed gather clothes. I think in the long run I do better not purchasing so many clothes and, better still, resewing, refashioning, and coordinating them with my other clothes. I am able to save more money in the long run. Just a simple tip.
Nothing is happening...what to do now?
No one is responding. No one has read my posts. No one is interested. Either I have the wrong product(s) or the wrong platform or the wrong marketing strategy. Anyone?

Classroom Coffee Time is open!
Want to ask a Canadian woman something? How to become a citizen? What traditions do we have? How to get your driver's licence? Can you have more than one spouse with our religious openness? Just want to practise your English? Come in and ask away.

Every Thursday at 1:00 pm. If no one shows up by 1:15, we'll hold our questions until next week unless you send me a personal note.
What kind of teacher/mentor do you want?
I have always thought that a kind, compassionate teacher makes an excellent teacher. I am skilled at helping students with challenges, which also means being a teacher who also listens to and observes those in my lessons. I have taught from K to 12, but my favourite students are those who attend to what is expected. Can't complete the assignment? Then let's do it together. There is no such thing as 'can't', but there is such a thing as 'not yet but soon'.

What kind of teacher do you appreciate?

Oh, I have heard of the disorganised teacher who owes the student big time, or the strict sergeant major, or the hippy dippy (that is my second favourite because they are more interesting!
