About 30 minutes ago I got a phone call to say thereβs been a cancellation and I can have my surgery tomorrow π So instead of a normal Thursday (actually, is anything I do normal?), Iβm currently running around like a headless chicken trying to get everything sorted so I can be at the hospital for 6am tomorrow morning π I knew Iβd said yes to short-notice cancellationsβ¦.. but I definitely wasnβt expecting this short notice! I feel excited and nervous at the same time. Excited because, hopefully, this surgery will finally put an end to all the sickness and stomach issues that have been making life a bit miserable lately. Nervous becauseβ¦wellβ¦itβs surgery π©π My main focus now is getting myself recovered and back to my bestβ¦.. Iβve only got a few weeks before Paris and I am determined to be there, even if I have to arrive wrapped in bubble wrap π€£π«π·β¨β€οΈ The thing Iβm most gutted about is that I was supposed to be meeting up with our gorgeous @Marianne Whitfield and @Susan Walsh while theyβre in Liverpool todayβ¦.. Iβve had to cancel so I can get myself organised and ready for tomorrow, and I could cry about that part ππ Anyway, if everything goes to plan I should be around tomorrow evening to do my favourite post of the weekβ¦..our Leaderbord!!!!β¦β¦ Howβs everyone else doing today? Any exciting plans, or last-minute chaos stories to share? Hope youβre all having a fab week β¨β€οΈπ
