Rowing harder only matters if you're pointed toward the right shore
The author of "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" said "Rowing harder only matters if you're pointed toward the right shore" - Stephen R. Covey But here's the honest truth, I didn't understand this concept when I was first trying to monetize my online coaching business. I would wake up at 4:30 AM in the morning 7 days a week for over a year straight, grinding, grinding & grinding.... I was putting in the work but saw NO progress, until I made this one shift. Within a year this shift allowed me to drop out of college, quit my job, move across America to Miami & monetize my passion as an online coach, even help 7-figure coaches & people who've made multiple MILLIONS... It was removing the "I'll do it myself" mindset. You see, the truth is that I didn't see ANY results because I thought I could do EVERYTHING myself. Think about it, if you're the captain of your boat, what good does it do if you're: A: Leading your crew in the wrong direction or B: Trying to row the entire boat yourself... Yeah, you might get to the destination, but... maybe in 10-20 years. Here's the fix: I invested in people who have done what I wanted to achieve, to give me the correct road map, not just so I'm going the right direction, but to make sure I'm also sticking to the path. I networked with people who were a good fit with my service & built up goodwill. I created content that resonated with my ideal customers, which would give me the right attention. By doing this I was able to monetize my coaching business, make $4.8k cash collected within 24 hours, become fulfilled by being able to get paid for helping people I wanted to help & build a niched loyal following of people who wanted to buy my stuff & work whenever I want. But here's the thing, this has also worked for tons of other people, so remember, if another human can do it, you can too. Hope this helps.
