Awesome view
Thanks @Jules Baker for a great chat last Monday night exploring our internal views. Here's a photo from last weekends getaway for my partner's birthday at Lake Wonboyne at sunset, near Eden.

I've just been through your 'pack your bags ' designing my dream holiday. There's certainly a lot more to unpack than to pack. Particularly if my dream holiday is on a tropical island where all I need is swimmers and toothbrush and maybe a couple of other things. I liked the anchor technique with touching a body part to practice evoking a good emotional change.
When have you had the 'ready of home' feel?
Do you know what I mean - when your trip is nearly over? The prebooked adventures went to plan. The amazing itinerary unfolded. The airport and flights are looming. You're weary with low energy levels and home is calling. Let me know when you've had that ready for home feeling.

One of the things I love about going away is the coming home. I really appreciate home after some time away. Particularly after 'caraventuring' which is pretty cramped. It doesn't take too long to get bored of home then the cycle starts again.
Enjoy the view
Thanks @Jules Baker for an interesting chat 'enjoy the view'. It will help me develop a daily and sustainable gratitude practice in an easy to remember way. Here's a photo I took recently of my special view that helps me access those beneficial pathways and help interrupt those negative down turns. I love the alternation of light and shadow in this photo.

Where have you been where the shopping is over the top?
Join me in Shinsaibashi - Suji shopping district in Osaka, Japan - It's shopping on steroids. Let me know where you have been where shopping is over the top? What treasures did you find?

Gee must of been interesting stationary. My over the top shopping adventure doesn't quite compare. However in the lead up to Xmas I've been on the lookout for presents for my grand niece and nephews aged 4, 6 and 8. I've discovered a great local art and crafts shop in Yass around the corner from the drumming on Friday night where I discovered it's amazing collection of knitted animals. I did go totally berserko given I couldn't decide on just a few as they were all so so gorgeous. I kept just one (photo attached) to give to my cousin who had a baby earlier this year. I also had a great chat with 2 of the lovely ladies in the shop who were the creators of the gorgeous creature creations. We discussed the many benefits of hand crafting. It was one of those real feel good moments and I was inspired to take up another hand craft hobby.
Where have you been that captures the essence of the place?
Daziafu Tenmangu Shire for me was quintessential Japan. Weeping cherry blossoms in gorgeous gardens. Sensational. Where have you been that captures the essence of the place?

I love to visit Botanical Gardens when I'm visiting cities. One of the most memorable was the Perth Botanic Gardens in September, 2015 Australian wildflowers galore. My mum and I used to go on an epic bucket list journey every year. We visited Perth during the wildflower season then boarded the Indian Pacific to travel back to Sydney. I have so many wonderful memories of those trips.
