It’s Tia’s gotcha day tomorrow. Because we don’t know her birthday, we celebrate it as her birthday. I’ve made her a cake. Unfortunately it went a wee bit wrong 😢 I’ve tried it and it tastes very nice so I hope she won’t be too upset it’s not all in one piece. Am I the only one that has baking disasters?

I guess we all have favourite places to take our dogs and different reasons why. There’s something I particularly like about this field, and not just the fact it has a lake for the dogs to swim in. It’s that the two sections (the lake, and the woods and field) are separated. I don’t like Troy going in the lake section if Tia is in there because he blocks her when she’s done with swimming and won’t let her out of the lake. This way she can enjoy her swim in peace and climb out when she wants. Then we swap over and Troy goes in for a paddle. At some point they meet up at the fence line like this, and then live out their inner greyhound as they race each other back and forward to the gate. What are your favourite places for the dogs, and why?
