Hi all, I promised @Zoe Anderson the other day that I would post something about how I 'do' automatic writing so, here it is: 1. If possible, get into a quiet room and give yourself enough time (15-30 mins) when you will not be disturbed. 2. I get myself very comfortable in a chair with my pad and pen either next to me on the arm or on the table. The important thing is to be comfortable and have both feet on the floor. 3. I do some deep breathing - three deep breaths in through the nose and breathing via my stomach, hold it for a few seconds, then breathe out slowly from my mouth making sure to release any stress and tension from my body. 4. I check in with my body (shoulders, forehead etc) that I am physically relaxed. 5. I then imagine roots growing from my feet and anchoring into the centre of the earth to ensure I am grounded through this process. 6. Sometimes, if I'm not feeling spirit strongly, I imagine a bright, white light coming up through my feet and infusing my body. Usually by the time it's got to my third-eye, I am feeling spirit very strongly. 7. With my eyes closed, I ask whichever member of my spirit team wishes to come forward to do so, and I ask their name. 8. Holding the pen very loosely, I write the name down and any introduction they may wish to give. 9. Then I just write as I am guided. 10. If you think the message has concluded, check in with spirit and thank them if it has. When you're writing, it's important to not think about what is being written, just go with it. You can read through it all later. Equally, it doesn't matter if it's neat writing or if it looks like a spider has crawled all over the page. All that matters is the message. Sometimes it will be direct but sometimes it will have things in there that don't appear to make sense on the surface. Remember, spirit sometimes speaks in analogies. Also as soon as the writing is finished, write down any images that came to your mind. Spirit love to give you pictures and images to reinforce the message. Sometimes they are memories or, as I had the other day during a reading, the Titanic and the iceberg! It kind of made sense!!

I just wanted to say a quick hello and welcome to our new members (hi!) and highlight a few things coming up next week: 1. Starting on Monday at 6.45, I will be live (it ain’t gonna be pretty I warn you now!!) for 15 minutes helping us all to choose happiness for the day. It’s a 2 week experiment to see the difference it can make for us - and if it works, who knows. I might continue it. The live will be recorded for non-UK residents so they can watch it in the morning their time. There will be no loud noises and no jumping around. I don’t do that first thing, I am barely conscious!! But come with a beverage of your choice and we will see where it takes us! 2. From Wednesday evening at 8pm we will be starting our Book Club. This is for authors, aspiring authors and volunteer Beta readers to come together and chat all things books. How we have written what we’ve written, what we enjoy reading, what our next projects are. Please do come along, all you need is an open mind waiting for inspiration!! There will be other lives happening, recorded tarot readings and all manner of other stuff happening.
