Big fan here. Used it a lot when working for other businesses then again here in Italy since 2009. Stopped after covid when decided to try retirement!
Spring has Sprung?
I was listening to my fave podcast about Skool yesterday and was reminded that it was the first day of spring! So here’s a little song that hopefully will cheer everyone up - if you need it that is! https://youtu.be/l8JO_4NEKTo?is=L4-jF0vh_idRVUPn

@Elise Hodge thanks so glads that you liked it! Did your husband listen to it too?
Did you know you can toggle VIP on and off?
I was sharing about this in our VIP call today, and it was new information to some members! 👀 Which is HUGE… because it gives you wayyyyyy more control over how (and when) you sell VIP. Here are some ways you could use this: - Turn VIP on during a promo period→ Run a focused push (e.g. after a workshop, challenge, or launch)→ Then switch it off so you’re not constantly selling it - Use VIP as a limited-time upgrade→ “VIP is open this week only” hits very differently than “VIP is always available”→ Creates urgency without needing to be pushy - Turn VIP OFF when you hit capacity. If a space opens up, reopen it and let your community know. - Open VIP once a week for 24 hours ⏳→ Let new members know: “VIP opens every [day] for a limited time” This builds a natural rhythm + recurring urgency without extra effort - Use it as a reward or invite-only experience→ Open VIP just for your MOST engaged premium → Or after someone hits a milestone inside your community - Test positioning + pricing without pressure→ Turn it on, test messaging, see what converts→ Turn it off, refine, and re-open stronger IMO, this completely changes how you approach monetisation. You don’t need to have everything “always available.” This allows you to create real urgency and manage your new VIP client flow! I'm actually thinking about turning my VIP OFF soon and taking an enrolment-based approach. I'm going to give it some more thought!

@Elise Hodge makes sense. I have discussed the use of live with other Skoolers snd some are using Zoom or Streamyard when they do live since they have had problems with the live feature on Skool / which is why Sam keeps mentioning that they need user’s feedback to constantly improve it.

@Elise Hodge yes I’m sure it will and pretty soon too is my guess
How can I help you? ❤️
What feels hard for you right now on Skool? - Getting your about page right - Growing tour Skool - Choosing your model (freemium, tiers, subscription) - Understanding how it even works - Something else? Please comment and let me know. I really want to help you! Just at the shops with my baby. But when I’m home, I’ll go through these comments and plan out content to help you this week. 🫶🏻

The main thing at the moment is whether to go freemium or straight to low ticket $7 . Now that we know that we cannot do a waitlist within Skool it does complicate things a bit.

Also I’m wondering if this method could work for the first beta group…. https://youtu.be/-KxE18nYHDU?is=I99n_CgT5Si6CmcV
How I Grew Skool Copy Hub to 700+ Members
Tomorrow I’m running a live workshop where I’ll be sharing the behind-the-scenes of how this community grew to 730+ members in just 8 weeks! When I started this community, I DIDN'T have everything perfectly planned. I launched with... - ONE flagship resource - One training, - ...and a very simple idea of what this space could become Since then we’ve grown to 735 members with 48 paying members (yipee, thank YOU for being here!) Along the way I’ve learned a lot about what actually works when you're building a Skool community. In the workshop I’ll walk through: - The simple launch strategy I used to create the community & get my first member in just a few hours - The traffic sources that brought the first members - How I created a sense of community & engagement here (this was so key early on, and it was just SO fun too!) - How Premium and VIP evolved based on member demand (they've changed a LOT, actually) - How I've been able to get 48 paying members (it's pretty lowkey and not super salesy, IMO). I’ll also share some things that surprised me along the way... including some stuff that didn't work (LOL, I'm an open book, always happy to share this stuff) and stuff that REALLY did work wayyy better than I expected! If you’re growing a Skool community (or thinking about starting one), this will give you a REALLLL look at what growing a community actually looks like in the early stages. Will I see you at the LIVE workshop? Deets are HERE: https://www.skool.com/skoolcopy/calendar?eid=23f9d98fe03f43cfbd1d4e5435d8a59a
