Why I'm posting regularly in this community
Contrary to popular belief, I'm posting in here to give back to both Alexa and this community. Even if no one likes or comments on the post, it really doesn't matter. I'm happy to share my knowledge and what I've seen work with both me and others! Since I've been on this platform, there's one community that has really helped me and also inspired me. And that's this one. In fact, it's Alexa's journey that encouraged me to leave my job to try to pursue content creation full-time. Would I have taken that path anyway? Probably. But her journey and her success definitely helped! @Dr. Saundra Stancil has also been so welcoming, and I appreciate the hard work she's putting in managing the community! From the bottom of my heart, I wish everyone the success they deserve with their YouTube channels! 👍

Well put Des @Des Dreckett ! But you are also in a lot of communities and have your own to run too! I’m amazed.
4 places your call to action should be on every YouTube video
If you only put your CTA (call to action) at the end of the video, most of your audience will never see it. Here is where to put it instead. 1. Homepage link at the top of your channel page. Your most important link should be the first thing people see when they visit your profile. 2. Inside the video before the average view duration drops off. Check your analytics. Find where viewers stop watching. Your CTA needs to happen before that moment. 3. First or second line of your description. Those are the only lines visible without clicking "more". Use them. 4. Pinned comment. Stays visible at the top of every comment section. Viewers who are engaged enough to read comments will see it. I got this wrong for a long time. I was relying entirely on end screens and wondering why nobody was clicking through. Once I moved my CTAs earlier and used all four placements, it made an immediate difference. Which of these are you already doing? And which one did you not know about?

3 CTAs inside each video. Front, middle and end.
Niche within a niche?
Hello all, I have an odd set of skills that I'm not sure if they merge on one channel. I"m a Naturopathic doctor, and I've been in oncology for the past 20 years along with general health issues (think family practice) and got burnt out. 8 years ago I shifted into fertility. Do I post just on fertility? Is that too small of a niche? Or do I go broad and general b/c as a primary care giver, I am well versed in several issues (ie) autoimmune disease. So confused what to focus on. I treat almost everything.... sigh... Any help in orienting me in the right direction would be so appreciative. Many thanks!

I’m looking for a bit of help with YouTube & Skool
I’m hoping for some advice around YouTube → Skool. I run a Skool community for UK first-time buyers in England, and I know the transformation happens once people are inside the community. The problem I’m having is using my YouTube to actually get the right people into Skool. My YouTube content is practical and aimed at people who want to buy but aren’t quite ready yet. So deposit, credit, and understanding the buying process — but I’m struggling to turn viewers into community members. There are so many people in the UK who want to buy a home. They don’t need convincing, they just need guidance. I know I can help once they find their way in, but I’m clearly missing something in how I’m using YouTube. If you’ve grown a community using YouTube, I’d really value your perspective: What would you focus on first? How would you position YouTube to feed a Skool community? Is there anything obvious I might be overlooking? Any honest advice would really help — I’m here to learn and improve.

@Manda MortgageCoach just had a look at one of your videos, in particular your links in the description. If you want people to join your Skool then this should be the ONLY link!!!! You have links to everything- all your socials etc. get rid of them. If you give visitors too much choice then they do not do what you want them to do.
OPERATION: Community Clean UP!
Hey everyone! I am so glad you are a part of this community and I want to make it even better. The goal is to create a space that you can feel safe, supported and able to learn in without crazy spammers, dropshippers or millionaires giving money away (what is that anyway??!?!) 😅 To be honest, I have been super frustrated with all the spammers in here. I was even on the fence about shutting it down altogether and starting over. But that is just RIDICULOUS - thank you @Harut Martirosyan for talking me off the proverbial ledge. 💖 INSTEAD this month/year I am going hard core OPERATION CLEAN UP!!🧹🧽🫧 We are going to remove spammers, non-youtubers. I am going to go back to application only - no more free for all. Going to protect this community like it's my baby! I don't want to throw away all the hard work, great connections and strong bonds we have made in here. I love and appreciate each and every one of you and truly enjoy interacting with you in the live calls and learning from each other. So I'm going to need your help if you are willing. Please whenever someone sends you a spam message from this community, let me know...and here's how to do that: 1) If it's a comment - place your cursor to the right of the comment you will see three dots, click on that and select "report to admins". Top right corner on mobile as well. 2) If it's in direct messages - same process three dots, please notify me of them before you block them. You can also block them so they do not bug you anymore. 3) You can also message me directly if you are unsure about them. The sooner I know the sooner we can make this community even more amazing. Thank you everyone! Let's make 2026 MIRACULOUS! 💥🎉💫🔥💖
