One of the things I teach in my book Click To Cash is to pre-sell your idea before you spend all that time creating it. I learned this one from experience. I used to get an idea, get excited, create the whole thing and THEN try to sell it. And sometimes nobody wanted it. I had to learn to stop creating what I thought people wanted and start finding out what they would actually pay for. So before you create that class, workshop, ebook or whatever idea you have, TEST IT! Tell people what you want to create. Tell them what it will help them do. Tell them the price. And see if anybody buys it. If they do, CREATE IT! If they don’t, you can make some changes and try again. Either way, you found out before you spent all that time creating it. Sell it. Then create it. What’s something you’ve been thinking about creating?
