Day 5 - website build
Day 5 is done 💪 I built a website based on a retired business of mine. I'm very happy with how it turned out, considering it's only meant to be a test. https://www.beginyourrise.com/ Of all the hacks, I got the most leverage out of the frontend designer. I didn't go into screenshot loops, inspirational sites, or individual components, but I plan to on a site that I intend for business traffic. Again, I can't believe how easy this was. I had the brand assets on-hand, and conversationally, Claude reached this final design in only 3 iterations. One thing I'm glad I did was to ask Claude if it had any ideas of its own on the last iteration. It's definitely worth seeing if it has any good opinions. #AISChallenge

Huge shoutout to the Top 5 Members of AI Automation Society for June! These are the people leading the way, sharing knowledge, and helping spread the AIS culture: 1️⃣ @Muskan Ahlawat 2️⃣ @Christian Rivadeneira 3️⃣ @Frank van Bokhorst 4️⃣ @Julius Waggoner 5️⃣ @Shihab Sakif And a special mention to @Nigel Vargas, who takes 6th and just missed the Top 5. We're rooting for you to break through in July! 👏 Keep contributing, sharing wins, and helping others grow! Our community gets better because of you. Let's keep building, keep learning, and keep spreading that AIS energy. 🚀 Cheers, Nate P.S., @Yash Chauhan is an AIS community manager, so his points don't count towards this ranking.

Congratulations, everyone! 🥳
Day 4 - automation build
Day 4 is done. I built an automation to email me daily on a big life goal. 1. It does research for me, compiles it, emails it to me in a newsletter format, and it highlights anything new within the past 7 days. 2. This one took the longest to build. Claude was having trouble finding the right way to complete the task. At first, the research was compiling correctly, but it never triggered an email. Eventually, we found the right connections and got over to trigger.dev. Test runs are completed, and the first official run will trigger at 8am tomorrow. #AISChallenge

@Jason Elam it's been a very cool experience. Right now, so much of this is new, so I really appreciate you pointing out the features of the build for me. :)

@Pappu Deb Nath thank you! I'm keeping it basic with general web scraping. I'd love to know more about the AI agent idea - I can imagine how well it can operate and make its own decisions while I'm away doing other work.
Day 1 - newsletter build
Hey, all! I made a quick one based on the Colombia vs Portugal World Cup match happening right now. Then for fun, I had my brother give me a random topic. I had Claude make that second one and email him directly. 1. The coolest thing I learned was the experience of having Claude define the project, ask for what it needed, and then stepping back to let it work. I can't believe how quickly it created these newsletters. 2. On the next iteration, I would include a logo and brand guideline along with some more structured direction on what the newsletter should include. This was more of a general playtest just to see what it's like. #AISChallenge

@Allen Flores thanks! 🙏
Day 3 - skill build
Day 3 task is done. I created a skill to write LinkedIn posts - I genuinely wish I had Claude Code 3 years ago. The fact that I can create them conversationally and make quick corrects is unreal. 1. Optimization: I'm not sure if this is an optimization per se, but I had Claude keep the skill within the project instead of at the global level. At this stage, I'm playing around and drafting how I want the final OS to be organized. 2. I have a screenshot of a post it created - I would post this if I were currently active on LinkedIn. #AISChallenge
